SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS

•ACRO JAZZ WORKSHOP with Mrs. Alexis

TUES-WED JUNE 25th-26th 10:00am-1:30pm 

Acro/Jazz

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Students MUST already be able to execute a clean handstand, cartwheel, round off & battement. A backbend, headstand and pirouette is also recommended, but not required. Students will learn and practice both acro and jazz skills and put them into a short combination during this 2 day workshop.

Recreational Dance Camp $89.00

Ballet/Lyrical/Jazz/Hiphop/Core/Tumble/Cheer

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Students will learn skills & techniques in these styles and genres of dance. In addition, students will learn 3 short dance combinations through out the week. On the last day of camp, parent/guardians are welcomed into the classroom at 1:30pm to view the combinations our dance campers learned during the week. In addition, younger dancers will have a craft station throughout various times during camp. Lastly, dance campers can pre-order pizza, drink and snack for lunch each day OR bring your own packed lunch.

•COMPETITION CAMP

Competition Dance Camp $149.00

MON-FRI July 29th- August 2nd  10:00am-4:30pm (3:30pm on Friday)

*REQUIRED TO AUDITION FOR COMPETITION*

Students will need ballet shoes, jazz shoes or foot undeez as well as tap shoes to participate. Please NO baggy clothes!

COMPETITION AUDITIONS 

Friday, August 2nd after camp through Saturday, August 3rd

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Students will learn skills & techniques required to be on a TTDS competition team. Dancers will also learn sections of competition routines that we plan to compete with through out the season. Although competition camp is required to audition, this does NOT mean that every dancer participating in camp and in auditions will make a team. Please speak with our competition director and assistant director for further questions on competition.
