Class Dress Code

All students attending Triple Threat Dance are expected to adhere to the dress code designated for each class in which they participate.

Overly ornamented leotards are not permitted. Proper dance shoes are required. Hair must be secured off the neck at all times and bangs, below eye length, must be pinned back. Buns are preferred for all classes except hip hop and REQUIRED for ALL ballet, lyrical, and competition/performance classes. Hair for hip hop and other classes is a low pony. Staff is not responsible for students' belongings. Jewelry is not permitted and should be left at home.

It's important for students to abide by the dress code policy for the following reasons:

  • A neat and tidy appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teachers and the art of dance
  • Teachers must be able to see the dancer's body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture and alignment

All Students

  • Combo Classes**: Leotard (with or without a skirt), tights, pink ballet shoes and tap shoes (please no costume leotards or the slipper-type ballet shoes – they are very slippery).  Hair MUST be pulled back and off the face.
