Competition/Performance Company

Competition/Performance Company classes are for those students who want to compete and be very involved in dance.  They are generally geared toward students who want to put in extra time and rehearsals for competitions and performances.  Expectations and demands are higher for Competition/Performance Company students.  This is a serious commitment for both parents and child, but also very rewarding, energizing and fun experience for all those involved!

Each student must participate in technique classes and a group production routine (this year's routine will be a musical theater routine).  At that point, you choose what other classes you would like to participate in.  The options are:  Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Lyrical.  

Costs for Competition/Performance Company classes vary depending on the number of routines and classes you participate in.  You will need to purchase make-up, shoes, tights, accessories, entry fees, hotel and meal expense while at the competitions.  Most of these fees will be given prior to the start of the fall session, when possible and can be found in your Competition/Performance Binder you will be receiving in September.  This includes which competitions we will be attending and your entry fees.  Cost for costumes, shoes and tights will be given in November, once these items are finalized.
